Project CAD Details
CAD drawings of some of the more common wood construction details have been developed in DWG file format and can be incorporated as typical details or modified after they are downloaded to become more project specific. They have been drawn to incorporate connectors from a defined list based on their relative cost and versatility.
Design Tables
Design Tables list the lower product capacity published between USP Structural Connectors and our competitor. For comparative purposes, product capacities were obtained from the manufacturers’ most recent ICC-ES ESR reports available as of July 1, 2008 or product catalogs. The design tables are available for inclusion on project documents in Excel file format.
General Notes
General Notes is suggested language for the wood section of the Structural General Notes to address important issues regarding structural connectors.
Hardware Cross-Reference Chart
The Hardware Cross-Reference Chart compares USP products side-by-side to our competitor and is ready to import in the project plans in DWG format. The table consists of a defined list of connectors from major manufacturers based on their relative cost and versatility.
Connector Coating for Corrosion Protection Table
This table lists coating and material recommendations for connectors used with preservative treated wood based on AWPA use categories.
Wall Bracing Options CAD Details
